Discover Flint: Flint Handmade Craft Market

Looking for something to do this Saturday?  Head to downtown Flint and check out the Spring Flint Handmade Craft Market!  Flint Handmade is a local group of crafter's.  When you think of crafts, don't think your Grandma's crafts - these ladies give a hip, fun twist to crafting!

This Saturday, May 5th,  Flint Handmade will host it's semi annual craft market at the Masonic Temple on Saginaw Street in downtown Flint.  It is a great place to find unique gifts for every occasion. The Spring Craft Market will feature a large variety of unique, modern handmade items such as original illustrations, screen-printed shirts for adults and kids, reconstructed jewelry, knit and crocheted goods, hand-poured candles, natural bath and beauty products, plush toys and much more from 45 vendors!   Get there early, the first 25 shoppers will receive free goodie bags filled with coupons, merchandise and more. Admission is free, but donations are always welcome.

The Temple Dining Room inside The Masonic Temple will also be open for sit-down and take-out lunches from 11am-3pm.  The Masonic Temple is located at 755 S. Saginaw Street in Downtown Flint, MI 48502.

If you can't make it on Saturday, be sure to stop by the Lunch Studio  in downtown Flint.  Flint Handmade has a shop inside the Lunch Studio featuring many different vendor crafts in one location.  It is the perfect place to find the perfect gift!

Flint Handmade also hosts craftLAB on the first Sunday of the month throughout the year at the Lunch Studio.  There is always a new craft to learn and make something to take home.  All ages are welcome.   Check out their calendar for all kinds of great events.
