Discover Flint: Buckham Alley Fest

Summer is well underway!  In fact, in my mind I always look at the 4th of July as half way though summer (even though it's not).  I know lots of people had big plans for Independence Day, either spent at home or maybe in northern Michigan.  Don't let yourself get in a rut, continue your festive summer this weekend at the 2nd Annual Buckham Alley Fest.

After a VERY successful kick off last year, Buckham Alley Fest is back again and ready to show you a good time! This Saturday, July 14th, downtown Flint's Buckham Alley is hosting food, fun, music and lots of local vendors.  It is a free event that will host 10 different bands on two stages, as well as street performers.  There will be five different restaurants offering great goodies and great vendors from all over Flint, including many from Flint Handmade.

Come downtown and watch Buckham Alley come to life.  Last year the festival welcomed over 2,000 people to the streets.  This year is only going to be bigger and better!  It is the perfect way to enjoy a summer evening in Flint.  The festival starts at 6 p.m. and continues officially until midnight.  Not sure where Buckham Alley is?  Check out the map.  Hope to see you there!
