Discover Flint: Flint Art Fair

It's not like this event actually needs to be discovered, it is a staple of welcoming in summer in Flint.  This year celebrates 45 years of the Flint Art Fair.  Every year the Friends of Modern Arts welcome thousands of people to the grounds of the Flint Institute of Arts to enjoy a weekend of family friendly fun.

There is lots to see and do at the Flint Art Fair.  Spend your time wandering through 100's of artist booths offering paintings, sculpture, jewelry, photographs, woodworking and much more.  Take the kids over to the kid friendly area to get busy creating art and enjoying a some fun.  Enjoy the free music presented daily by talented local musical artists

The Flint Art Fair has become a tradition for my mom and I over the years.  We mark our calendars in advance to make sure we don't miss this great event.  There are so many wonderful vendors to browse, the hardest part not spending all our money!

Come and join us this weekend, June 9th and 10th to experience one of the greatest art festivals around!  Admission is $5 to help raise money for the FIA.  For more information, check out their website.
